4-H is a community of more than 6.5 million young people across America learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. 4-H members participate in fun, hands-on learning activities supported by the latest research of land-grant universities that are focused on three areas: healthy living, citizenship, science. Members are required to work on individual projects relating to home, farm, community or leadership. Members are required to take part in the Sugar Cane Festival, Achievement Day and work on community projects during the year.
