Daily Announcements

A meeting will be held during Jacket Time on Friday to begin the enrollment process for students wishing to take Dual Enrollment English IV.  By Friday, students need to have decided whether they are taking English IV Honors, English IV Dual Enrollment Honors, or English IV AP.  To enroll in English IV Dual Enrollment students must also meet SLCC's criteria.  This and the application process will be discussed at the meeting on Friday, April 20.  Only students wishing to enroll in English IV Dual Enrollment need to attend this meeting. If a student has any questions, he or she should see Mrs. Gipson prior to Friday to make their decision.  

 

1.   Attention: Sophomores who are interested in taking Spanish next year--go to guidance and sign the sheet on the counter in front of Mrs. Trudy. If the numbers of juniors and seniors needing Spanish are low, we may be able to open it up to Sophomores.

Tickets are now on sale before school and at both lunches for ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, the school's Spring Musical.  It is based on the story of THE PRINCESS AND THE PEA.  Performance dates are April 20, 21, 22 and April 27, 28, and 29.  Tickets for the  special price of  $5.00 are for NISH students only.  To use the NISH ticket you must present your NISH ID along with the ticket at the door.  All access pass students enter free with their pass.  Teachers are admitted free.

5.ATTENTION SENIORS: We are accepting pictures for the baby picture section of the yearbook. We will need a baby picture, senior picture, your name, and a quote. You can email this digitally to [email protected] or you can bring this information to the yearbook cart down F hall at your lunch. If you choose to bring everything to the cart, make sure to include your 3rd block class or your 2nd block so we can return it to you. This is free.

 

6. Seniors Only:  Project Graduation will be on campus to pick up entry forms and payments on the following dates:

March 7 (before school),  March 9 (during lunch),  March 15 (during lunch),  March 20 (before school),  March 22 (during lunch)

 

After March, the price goes up to $35 and they will be on campus as follows:

April 6 (during lunch),  April 11 (before school),  April 13 (during lunch) ** This is the last day for a guaranteed prize

 

April 19 (during lunch),  April 26 (during lunch) - cost is $45 these days

If you choose to pay at the door, cost is $50 CASH!!

 

All other forms such as Favorite Songs / Prize Wish List, Womanless Beauty Pageant, and T-Shirt Designs can be turned into Ms. Menard in B-1 during school hours.  Pay attention to deadlines!!

 

7.  Yearbook Announcements 

 

Yearbooks can be purchased online at www.yearbookordercenter.com Be sure to use the school code 16120 to help place your order. We will announce when we have order forms at the yearbook cart. 

 

8.The Sophomore class of 2020 is selling class shirts. There are four different options including dri- fit, short sleeve shimmer gold, and hoodies to choose from. Stop by D11 or D18 to pick up an order form. The deadline to order is April 26th. Get your class shirt in time for the new school year!

 

9. Vote for Freshmen class favorites Wednesday and Thursday this week during lunch in the library. (4/18/18 and 4/19/18)

11. Any Junior interested in Ring Ceremony need to submit their form and pictures to Mrs. Kohler (B17) by Friday

Senior shirt order forms are located outside of B17.  Orders due Friday 4/27 before lunch.  No extensions.

15. There is an ad section in the yearbook and we allow students and businesses to design an ad to be placed at the end of the yearbook. For example, a design for an athlete might include their name, sports number, a message from family, and a picture of the athlete. An ad for a business might include a logo, the name of the business, special deals or sales, and their contact information. Regardless, we design the ads according to your requests. 

 

The sizes and pricing are as follows:

Full Page: $200, Half Page: $100, 1/4 Page: $50, and 1/8 Page: $25

 

*If you bought an ad in the 2017-2018 Football Program, the prices for the ads are 50% off. Your new prices would be the following:

Full Page: $100, Half Page: $50, 1/4 Page: $25, and 1/8 Page: $12.50
